Jerry Ward joined the Supreme Court of Oklahoma, Administrative Office of the Courts, in 2008 with the mission to unify the state trial and appellate court information systems. As chief information officer, he has emphasized customer-focused processes, strategic planning, project management, integrated justice and process improvement. Mr. Ward began his IT career in the private sector consulting to commercial and public organizations for 25 years. Prior to joining the courts he served as IT Director for the Oklahoma District Attorneys Council. Mr. Ward holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics, an MBA, a Project Management Professional Certificate (PMP), and is currently researching Electronic Arrest Warrants for a Ph.D. in Information Systems Management. Mr. Ward is a commissioned Reserve Deputy Sheriff in the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office.
