Connie Steinheimer

Connie Steinheimer is chief judge for the Second Judicial District for the State of Nevada, County of Washoe. She was first elected as a judge to the Second Judicial District in 1992. Steinheimer was a juvenile probation officer before law school, and worked for the Marion County district attorney in Salem, Ore. She entered private practice in 1984. Steinheimer has taught criminal and civil procedure, trial practice, jury management, voir dire, managing complex litigation, electronic filing and ethics for the State Bar of Nevada, Nevada Justice Association, Washoe County Bar Association, Oregon Presiding Judges’ Conference and the American Bar Association.
