Joy Lyngar

Joy Lyngar joined The National Judicial College in October 2007 and now serves as the Chief Academic Officer. Before joining the NJC, Lyngar spent 10 years specializing in judicial education at the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges. In her current position, she oversees all of NJC’s distance learning program and serves as the project director for numerous federal grants to produce distance education for judges and other court service professionals. Prior to her work in national judicial education, Lyngar practiced law in Canada.
