Kim Garlin Dunning
Kim Garlin Dunning has served since 1997 as a judge of the Superior Court of California, County of Orange. She is the court’s immediate past presiding judge and presently serves on the complex civil litigation panel. Dunning is active in court technology initiatives, sitting on the Judicial Council’s Court Technology Advisory Committee and the California Case Management System’s General Administrative Advisory Group. She is the past chair and current vice-chair of the Superior Court’s Technology Committee. Under Dunning’s leadership, the court transitioned to “paper on demand” for all civil calendars and took first steps toward the use of “smart form” technology for court forms.
